Operational friction scorecard

Find out whether repeated work points to a process issue, an integration gap, or a broader system-fit question. Your answers stay in this browser session and no contact details are required.

Observable signals

Rate repeated work, delayed handoffs, unclear ownership, and reporting effort.

Proportionate response

See whether process cleanup, integration review, or a system-fit review is worth testing.

Neutral guidance

The result identifies a pattern. It does not prescribe a particular platform.

01Manual handoffsHow often does the same customer, order, or job data get typed into more than one system?
02Visibility and reportingHow often do staff need to ask someone where a job, order, or approval stands?
03Visibility and reportingHow much manual work is needed to produce a trustworthy weekly operating report?
04Data trustHow often do inventory, purchasing, or job-cost figures disagree between tools?
05Customer-to-cash executionHow often do invoices wait because field, project, or delivery details are incomplete?
06Data trustHow difficult is it to trace a number back to the transaction or decision behind it?
07Workflow ownershipHow often do approvals live in email, chat, or a person's memory?
08Manual handoffsHow much rework happens when a customer, price, schedule, or scope changes?
09Scalability and resilienceHow dependent is the operation on one person who knows how the spreadsheets fit together?
10Scalability and resilienceHow often does growth create more administration instead of more capacity?

What the result can and cannot tell you

A score helps a team name the pattern behind delays and rework. It does not select software. A credible decision still requires real transactions, exception cases, control requirements, data quality, integration boundaries, and the people who will run the process after launch.

The three scoring bands are educational heuristics for an initial workflow conversation. They are not validated diagnostic thresholds and do not measure financial impact, implementation readiness, or software fit.

Path 01

Patch

Clarify ownership and remove one measured source of repeated work.

Path 02

Integrate

Test whether a controlled connection resolves the costly handoff.

Path 03

Review fit

Compare broader options with real transactions and exception cases.
